This Physicist Fires Underwater With His Own Life On The Line

I don’t know about you but I can never put my life at stake like this one brave soul right here. No matter the fact that bullets fired underwater tend to travel a short distance than fired on land. Nope. I just can’t. Will you dare do it?

Physicist, Andreas Wahl, puts this theory into test. He bravely put his own life at risk, standing at a safe distance in front of the SIG 550 rifle. On land, rifles are used for long range shooting so you can imagine the risk of this experiment if it goes out of control. Firing underwater on the other hand, shortens the distance traveled by bullets because of the fact that water molecules are more dense compared to air molecules. In short, there is more resistance firing underwater than on land which explains the video.

Even if this is already tested and proven, will you dare to risk your life in front of a gun underwater? For a million dollars, I guess I have to think harder.
