Diagnosed with Cancer A Week Before Graduation; High Schooler Delivers Inspiring Speech

Posted by Clicker Dane on November 14, 2015

The overflowing emotions are somewhat expected in graduation ceremonies. But for the recent graduation in Christchurch Boy’s High School in New Zealand, it’s much more than that.

This inspiring speech by senior monitor Jake Bailey has been picking up a lot of hits since last week. After he was diagnosed with advanced stage of cancer a week before his graduation, he reminded his fellow graduates and teachers to be ‘passionately dedicated’ to now and to be grateful for every opportunity.

Our prayers are with you Jake and thank you for being an inspiration!
